Just wondering how many people here are in therapy, or trying to get into therapy for their emet. I am in therapy. I first started going for situational depression, and since about June, I've been going just because of the emetophobia.

I said yes, but really it's for many reasons, as I am the "issues" queen!

Yes. I have been in therapy for emet for 10 long years....

Although I had to giggle at the No, I can't afford it option because I was asked to take a break from therapy untill I could catch up with my outstanding balance. (now that makes me want to puke!!! how freaking embarassing! Just another fine example of the American way... $$$$$$$$$

I'm mostly curious on how to find a therapist who has enough experiance to be able to treat this?

There is a sticky post at the top of this Treatments section answering just that question.
