Hey Stef -

You can dress up and come to my place trick or treating and I'll give you a lolly! LOL - if it helps!?

Isn't it weird how we don't have halloween in Oz? I always wondered why?

Not dressing up but this is one of my favourite days of the year, especially since there are usually loads of spooky things on tv.

I didn't realise you didn't celebrate Halloween in Australia - you learn something new everyday!

Bexcelica, your 'Dressing Up' post appears three times, including this one. I think something weird is going on because I made three posts yesterday, two on the Halloween one and one on the Vegetarians/Vegans one, and today they have totally vanished. I know for certain they were there yesterday, but today it looks like I was never here yesterday! What's going on? Don't even know whether this post will appear, or appear then disappear

I am dressing up as a "Midnight Fairy" complete with black wings and fishnet stockings! I wish I had a long black wig to complete the look, but I just didn't get a chance to buy one. I guess I'll just have to be a blonde fairy! I can't wait!

i'm not dressing up...which is sad, but i have to stay home and work on a paper. lol, i know, today of all days!! But if i did dress up, i would be a...um...something scary!! I did just burn my hand on a pumpkin candle though, and it's slightly black, so i could be a dead person caught in a fire.

I'm not really dressed up, just wearing my witch's hat and Harry Potter T-shirt that says, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." My 7 yr old went as Harry Potter (of course), my 5 yr old wore her dance recital costume from last spring (a cow with sequins--has to be the most original one out there lol) and my 3 year old is a football player. He was going to be Captain Hook but wouldn't wear the coat because it has buttons. He has a button aversion. So did my 7 yr old at his age. We must have some freaky psycho genes in our family LOL!!!

My husband is taking the kids around the neighborhood now and I am sitting here handing out treats (we already went through four bags!). I also put this plastic leg (looks real) we have under the garage door. Good thing the little ones don't get it, but some of the older ones are a little freaked out! I told one of the kids (about 10 years old) that I had had it with my husband. He just looooooked at me. LOLOLOL
