I just noticed yesterday thatmy daughter and myhands are ALREADY chapped and dry from washing. Can anyone suggest a good lotion to help this? It really hurts.

    I already knew that.

I think everybody really knew that.

I wash my hands before preparing food, unless it will be cooked at a
high enough temperature for long enough time (because I know virus is
killed at high temperature for long enough time and 100-150 degrees
celcius for 30 minutes should be enough to kill all viruses and
bacteria). However, whenever I touch food that is ready to be eaten I
wash my hands before. And always, no matter what I have touched before,
no matter what, I wash them throughly with hot water and soap.

I also immediatly wash them after having touched a trash.

I also wash my hands before brushing teeth because I dont want virus particles on it.

I also wash my hands before taking a bath, because I dont want to touch my head with hands full of virus particles.

If someone ask me if I want some candy, a cookie etc. I always say know
because I haven't washed hands before touching them - and I never put
anything in my mouth which contains virus particles.

I use Quench; it's not very expensive, and it doesn't leave your hands feeling greesy afterwards.

My hands are so dry from washing and where my son had that cough last week, I washed double and then it got cold on us too. This is awful, but, I do use Cetaphil and it is greasy, so maybe I will try what the others listed above. Also, Vaseline and those cotton gloves that you sleep in at night does work...I can't sleep with the gloves on, so i don't do it very often.

Shiva - I use the Curel lotion. It doesn't smell the greatest, but it really helps. It's not too greasy either. It cures mine within about 2 days. And it doesn't sting like most lotions
