Last night I ate two pieces of ravioli! Yeah, I know, doesn't sound like much, but it was a huge step for me, considering that the last time I vomited (the ipecac induced thing - do NOT try it) that is what I ate beforehand. I've heard that even non-emets have trouble eating foods they have vomited. But I ate two pieces. Yay!!!

wow thats so brave. Last time i was sick i ate a certain flavour and brand of crisps and i havent eaten them since and never will again! The crisps did not make me sick btw, i had a sv but i made the association! Another wierd thing about that time, i threw away the clothes i was wearing at the time because they bought back the memory for me, lol im so wierd!

but well done, wish i could face that fear.

Yeah, I definitely understand the whole association thing. I can now eat every food I've ever vomited, with the exception of a certain brand of pizza. Maybe once I get braver, I'll give it a try.

    Note to self:

Do not buy thrift store PJ's.

Hey I really like ravioli so I hope I never V* after eating it. I like
to sprinkle some shredded mozz cheese and sauce on the top and then
bake it in the oven to melt the cheese over it. Yum yum. An easy and
inexpensive dish to make at home btw.

I think I would throw clothes away if that happend to me. I would be that loopy also. but luckerly I havent been sick V* for 37 years. Do any of you refuse treatment incase of side effects? I would NEVER go to hospital, rife with germs. So this phobia kind of puts my life in danger.

Congrats! I can't eat any Matzah but luckily that only comes once a year for about a week and since I don't live at home anymore I don't have to eat it. That's the only food I can't eat. I used to not eat chocolate cause I got a SV and V*ed and the color of the V* was EXACTLY like Chocolate...sorry for being so graphic...that's why I used to stay away from Chocolate but I eat it now no problem, I just don't eat it in excess.
