So i bring lunch to work everyday. sometimes i dont eat it and forget
about it in the fridge. so i ate the wrong sandwich today. it was from
like last week i think. i am completely bugging out about this. it was
3 hours ago that i ate it and i feel completely fine. the cheese was
kinda hard on the outside, and the bread was a bit soggy. i kept saying
this doesnt taste too good. so i only ate half and threw out the other
half. do you think i would have been sick by now? i dont feel bad
at all..

ps it was roast beef and swiss cheese with mustard on white bread, and it was refridgerated the whole time.

bex - the fact that it was refrigerated the whole time means really it
should be fine. Was it a homemade one or one from a deli? If you
think about it simply, taken apart, you probably would keep roast
beef, cheese, possibly breaad in the fridge at home for 3 days and it
wouldn't affect you - so as long as the fridge works properly at work,
really there shouldn't be any probs.
I'm sure you'd be feeling bad by now if it was contaminated - so rest
easy - (not an easy thing to do, I know!)

Best of luck

I think you'll be fine it was refrigerated the whole time. I'd be more worried if it wasn't refrigerated.

Wow. sounds like what I did just last Sunday. I hadthis Breast Cancer walk to go on and I packed it at around 7 am but I didn't eat it until 1 pm. I tried to convince myself that the day was not that hot and it should not be spoiled Hehe. Lot of work that did me lol. I had a panic attack and I had to call my dad. Funny, its the same kind of sandwich, roast beef and swiss chesse. lol. Anyway. I also think it was fine. =]

(sorry the sandwich was too much of coincidence to pass up posting something even if you're fine now. ^^-)

Oh yeah...think about how long the roast beef stays in the deli section at the grocery. The expiration date on the package that they slice off for you at the deli counter at the grocery is like 4 months away. you are fine. cheese keeps forever until it molds which take forever in the fridge and bread in the fridge will out last us probably. LOL

You are fine and you would feel bad by now definitely and I think even earlier.
