    hi everybody,

i know you guys will all understand my concerns and i'm happy to be able to post here!! my boyfriend is v understanding and trying his best but he doesn't have emet so I don't think he'll ever quite get it.

ok, my face!! i had really bad, and i mean really bad! tooth ache last night and over night my face has swollen to make me look like i have a beach ball for a head!! my boyfriend was oh so charming about it this morning but i don't look pretty funny!! i am pretty positive I have an infection in my wisdom as I have had it before. we i had it last i never finished of the course antibiotics which is mayb why it has come back, but it was 8 months ago. anyway last night i decided to start finishing of the packet as i needed to do something!!

i feel nauseous. i know they are just antiobiotics but they are really messing with my stomach and i'm worried they'll make me v*. i am at work at the moment but don't really want to leave partly cos that would involve and bus ride and partly because i have only been here a couple of weeks. my boss is away today so i do have the office to myself which means i can panic in private!!

but, can i take a gravol (it's only gingeri think - is it the real one? that's another post 'benadryl'!) can i take motilium or gaviscon? will these things stop the AB working cos I damn well know I want this infection killed!!! it's double owww!!!

anyway - thanku for reading if you got this far!!

hope you're having a good day

    K xxx

sometimes if antibiotics do mess with your stomache, it helps if you
eat something, or drink a glass of milk or orange juice. even if you
just eat some breasd youll feel better. it wont make you v*. ive felt
sick from antibiotics before and youll feel better if you get somethign
in your stomach. if you dont want to eat, it will go away and you wont
    v*.
One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.

I dissagree, milk on an upset stomach is a bad idea. stuck to clear pop, and yes, try to eat something when you take your antibiotics

milk is o.k. unless you have fever and then it is not good. do get something in your stomach and you should feel better. also, that infection may be causing you to feel a little yuck as well.

    hope you feel better!!!

I had it in my head that you aren't supposed to use old antibiotics...I'm not sure why! Maybe talk to your dentist or doctor about getting new ones. ????

Getting something into your stomach is good! I like toast or crackers when I feel off.

    Good luck!

So sorry for your predicament. If you get more anti-biotics from the dentist, make sure you take all of them. Each prescription is just one dose of the medication, and if you don't finish it off, then the strongest of the bacteria are able to survive and duplicate. Just saying that it's super important to finish those meds. I hopeyou feel better; toothaches can really hurt.
