Hey guys, have had a tough past hour and will warn u this could get a bit crude! so if u dont like detail dont read on....

Basically tonight was eating my tea, had a sausage roll and noodles. I ate the sausage roll and as i came to the last bit i wasnt enjoyin it and dont know if u know what i mean but got to the point where i shivered when i swallowed it! Ever since i have eaten it, thinkin back to the taste makes me feel really sick.

Anyway, as i was eating my noodles i was feeling more and more nausic and decided to stop there. About 20 minutes later i went to the toilet and had really loose bowels, which followed with about 8 more (rushed) trips to the toilet! My bowels got looser and looser till it was basically fluid!

I know my auntie had this stomach virus but havent been around her so knew it wasnt that, plus i never had no aches or pains or feeling unwell. Just rumblin down below!

Now, my bowels have stopped (i think! touch wood) i just feel empty and still a bit nausic! What was that? IBS? Something i ate? Im really unsure but was panicing thinking i was coming down with a SV* but know that i dont have the right symptoms for it!

Can anyone try and diagnose me?

hiya james - sounds like a touch of IBS to me. I get it quite often.
Always starts off with a slight nauseated feeling, then you start to get
tummy ache, and bubbling, and finally the need to go!!! Once you've
emptied, apart from feeling a bit shaky coz you're worried its
something scary, you generally feel much better. Just sip a bit of
water, take a Rennie, (not that they really help, but its what I've
always done) and you'll be fine!!!

i don;t know enough about IBS, but i get like that with stress. are you stressed? maybe you got nervous about the susage roll and it went from there and became a full blown panic attack.

hope you are feeling better and sorry for you that you feel so bad.

Sometimes when I eat steak, sausage or meat I get like that. SO maybe it was a spice or something in the sausage... do you think?I'm just saying because it seemed so sudden, and if it isn't a normal occurrence.. then maybe.. (I guess you could always eat another sausage to experiement... but I think that's a little out of the question.. (lol) jk

glad to hear you're doin' better . Sometimes the panick is the worst part. The anxiety leading up to it, and then the panic attack. But anyway, glad to know ur better.

everyone has the BIg D once in a while. You need to have symptoms of IBS for at least a few months before its considered, and your doctor must diagnose you with it after he rules other possibilites out.
