What is the best part about Halloween?

Halloween is my faveorite holiday. I like Thanksgiving and I like Xmas, but Halloween is just one of those holidays that is almost stress free. (Minus candy checking and so forth).

I love the kids, the dress up, and going to Haunted Happenings in Salem.

I like seeing all the little kids all excited and dressed up. My
favorite thing (just in the last 3 years) has been seeing my
boyfriend's neice dress up. Last year she was scooby doo, this year
    she's a horse she's so damn cute
One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday! I love the pumpkins and all the fall leaves and scary things! I wish I could still go trick or treating! Ha! Ijust love chocolate.

TAYDA do you live in Salem? That would be so interesting! I've always wanted to go there and go to the museums and stuff

I dont know why...I just like things that are spooky! I guess b.c. I grew up in a house that had a ghost. Atleast we all think that there was one So many weird things happened there!

Usually, I love halloween, but this year brings stress. I have to move and am waiting to find out if I can move BEFORE the 31st. Who wants to move when there a a gazillion kids on the streets, and probably asking for candy since lights will be on. Plus I have a 4 year old who wants to go out too...he's Batman this year. \

What really sucks, is that I maight have to work too until 7:30 that night....

Hopefully X-mas is better for me, and we already had Thanksgiving in Canada, and it was ok, but had some b/f problems (BUT, my turkey was AWESOME!!!!!)

    Happy Halloween!!!!

I love Halloween too! I have already prepared my treat bags for the trick-or-treaters this year. I plan to dress up also. I am dressing as a "midnight fairy" this year complete with black wings and fishnet stockings! We usually have anywhere from 50-100 trick or treaters and we have a great time on Halloween. Sometimes we have a party but I don't think we are going to this year since Halloween is on a Monday. We'll be carving our pumpkins soon!

    Mandi,

I live about 20 minutes from salem. WIth October traffic that can turn into like 2-3 hours sometimes, it's ridiculous. This year we're all going on the 30th for the festivities. I love Salem because of it's rich history and it's beauty. (Granted it's not the best history, but it was incredibly significant). They have the House of 7 Gables, a few Witch Museums, the Dungeons, and a lot of tourist attractions like: The terror trial, ghost walk, haunted houses, and lots more. It's also very nice to go to throughout the rest of the year. I've been to the museums and so forth at other times of the year, but I do the scary, tourist stuff during Halloween for no other reason than it's fun. I just love Halloween and everything about it: the leaves, the air, excitement, etc... My son is going to be Dracula this year, and he is SO excited. I miss trick-or-treating also; I went until I was 18 years old (lol). When people would say we were a bit old to be doing it, we'd tell them that there were worse things we could be doing. But at least now I can do it vicariously through my boy. :c) (sorry this was so long, I just get so stoked thinking about it).

Wow getting married on Halloween! That's AWESOME! I went trick or treating till I was 16. I miss it. Sometimes I think I should just get all bundled up and go trick or treating anyway (I'm 21). I love Halloween...it's also Samhain (For Wiccans) I do a little ritual by the moon light. I don't know if there will be any trick or treaters coming to my place cause I live in an apartment and I don't think any kids live here...besides I'll probably go to my parent's house that night to see all the little kids dressed up!

    Reese,

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

That is great and I know you must be getting a little stressed, but enjoy every minute of it. The wedding goes by so fast and it takes so long to get ready for it and that sucks. Have fun!

A VERY HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO YOU

Hey congrats on your wedding? Is it going to be traditional, or are you gonna do something different or unique on your wedding?
