    i've seen some people talk about anti-emetics on this site, i'm not sure what those are, what they do and where i can get them. i would appreciate it if someonecould explain anti-emetics to me. i'm a little embaressed that i don't knowabout them.[img]smileys/smilies_09.gif[/img]thanks!

    Don't feel embarassed[img]smileys/smilies_01.gif[/img]. They are drugs that prevent or alleviate nausea and vomiting. Not sure whether you can buy them without prescription in the US but here you need to see your doctor who will prescribe them.

    Anti-Emetics=anti-nausea, v* medication. There a few over the counter brands, and also prescriptions.

    Hey Missy, don't be embarassed, its fine to ask things like this.


    Anti emetics as others have said prevents nausea/v*ing.


    Some examples are (I think) gravol (for those in Canada), Dramamine (the same as gravol, the USA equivilent), Pepto-bismol, and other types of drugs that have these effects.
