    Hey ladies!

I was wondering, is it normal when your period starts for it to be slow? I mean it is that time of the month for it to be here, and I noticed a small amount of some, and this was about 1-2pm, and now its about 9:30, and its done a little more (it is bright red) but its not going quite yet. Sometimes its just a little bit when I check, then it does more, but it hasn't "gotten going" yet. Is this normal?

ETA: I Don't know if this would affect it, but well I'm a bit constipated (sorry!). Would that make it go a bit slower? Edited by: Galadriel

Mine slows down like that towards the end of my period. It's probably normal.

Ok good, its just I get a bit freaked sometimes if I don't think its normal. It seems to be starting out a bit slower than it usually does.

Mine is always like that (in fact, I'm going through the same thing right now!) I also tend to get a bit constipated right before it starts and then have *d* after it starts--it has a lot to do with the hormone fluctuations in your body!

I started a little bit yesterday and was SO nauseated. I thought IT was going to happen. My lower back and legs were also aching. I felt yucky!

Yeah, mine always starts out slow, Galadriel - sometimes remains really light the whole way through (those are a blessing...no pain, no worrying!). I'm sure its all absolutely normal!
