When Avian Flu has been developed so it can spread rapidly just as
regular flu, nearly everybody will get sick and need to take Tamiflu in
order to not die from the flu.

But there are some serious problems with that Tamiflu. And that is you will get nausea and vomiting as side effects.

Can anything be done so I can take Tamiflu without vomiting?

Or should I just commit suicide when the avian flu becomes even more dangerous and we've got pandemics?

Wait, aren't you the same one that posted the Norwalk thing a few days ago? Please don't take my tone as rude, but I think you are getitng WAY too worried about things that are less likely to happen to you than getting hit by lightning. Honestly. Shut off the tv and radio for a while, this is getting you anxious over NOTHING.

Did you read any of the replies to your Norwalk post?

Ok how to word this sensitively? LOL

Reading back your posts a lot of them are alarmist and wildly inaccurate. For example suggesting that people who don't have emet enjoy being sick or to be cured just take anti emetics or your more recent posts. Now this IS a support forum and I feel like you coming from a place where you are crying out for support, but I have other members here to think of who suffer high anxiety and your posts can be very alarming.

The media completely make things sound worse than they are and if/when you MAY have to take something to provent you dying or whatever they have anti emetics to help.

I'm not saying you shouldn't post anymore, I'm just suggesting that maybe you re-think before you post in such an alarmist way all the time. I can tell that for you they are alarming and causing a great deal of anxiety, but I would hate for this anxiety to pass onto others you get me? Have you thought about seeing a Dr or therapist?

    That made me laugh.

I heard about the avian flu, and I don't blame you for posting - I am worried about it too. I hope it doesn't come, so let's all cross our fingers. Although you did kinda frek me out the way you wrote that

PS I wasn't laughing at you saying you werre going to commit suicide if it came, I was laughing because its funny the things emets think of. I think the same thing. I'd rather die than v*. I wasn't laughing at you. Don't take that the wrong way.

Don't waste your time worrying about the avian flu. I have postedmy thoughtsbefore, but every year, the media talks about a flu pandemic, and it never ends up happening. The media freaked out about SARS - again no pandemic.

Like others have said, if you did want to take medicine, you could certainly take anti-emetics with it. You're not going to vomit from Tamiflu. You need to calm down.

Your fear is out of control, and you keep talking about suicide. You truly need to see a doctor for help with your phobia.

    i read the box of the tamiflu I didnt see nausea and vomiting. The only thing that tamiflu does is cut down the time of being sick. I posted on another post, in the Macleans mag. they did a article on this. Here is the title;
FORGET SARS, WEST NILE, EBOLA AND THE AVIAN FLU
    THE REAL EPIDEMIC IS FEAR.
We keep bracing ourselves for one cataclysmic threat after another. Our perceived lack of safety has become an obsession.

Maybe the best thing to do is not watch the news!

Can I also suggest that maybe you check your facts a little more thoroughly dtenko before coming here and presenting your fears and opinion as facts that scare other people, which has happened already.

dktekno if I were you (and I know I'm not) I would learn to take on board the facts of what people are telling you, not only that but it's just plain old good manners to thank people or update them. Not a forum rule or anything.
