You guys, I'm really nervous!!!

As you know, I had my birthday party yesterday...Well, yesterday night around 1 AM I started feeling bad, and got those little burps in my throat...I don't know how to describe them. I was pretty sure they were from eating too much junk food. Anyway, when I woke up, they were gone, and I was relieved. Now I am at my dad's theatre, and i have been here since 3 PM, which was around when I started feeling bad. Everyone is rehearsing for a show which starts at seven, which I have to stay for. I feel kind of nauseous, and i keep having to pee! (sorry). Whenever I drink water it goes away, but it kind of comes back...I'm trying to eat a sub right now to see if that will make it go away, but I'm not sure. Anyways, I just need help. Do you think i'm sick? help!!

I think you are fine. Water makes me better too, but I pee constantly when I am N* and I drink. Nerves make you pee and so does the water. You will be o.k. and the sub should soak up some of the junk and make it better. Once the show starts tonight, you will feel better too, since it will get your mind off the N* thing and all the junk from yesterday.

Feel better and enjoy the show.

Yeah, when I'm nervous, I pee so much, its hillarious! I think everyone is the same. And I *totally* know what you mean by the little burps in your throat - I can always tell when I'm getting nervous, because I start getting them. I don't know what causes them.

You're fine - I always eat tonnes of junk food at parties, and usually the day after I get a bit of a 'junk food hangover' - I never get sick, but just feel kinda yucky and unhealthy. Combined with nerves, I'd say thats what you have too ^_^ So don't worry. I don't think you're sick. It would have hit you before now if you were.

    Happy birthday, by the way!

hey... i completely understand, i am just the same!!

just keep telling yourself that you are not going to be sick, i feel that way every single day, even when i haven't eaten alot! and you definately are not going to be sick. if i feel nauscious, i try and eat something healthy.. it works. and if you are ill, then you are pale and have a white-ish toungue.. that always re-assures me.

    good luck

Thanks you guys...well i'm not sure exactly what's happening. I haven't v*ed. Yesterday I started feeling better during the performance, but then I got this stomach ache, which I assumed was from hunger, as I hadn't eaten a lot lately. I also got EXHAUSTED. So I went home, and my parents made me a grilled cheese sandwich which i ate, but my stomach didnt start feeling better, soi thought it would just take a little bit so i went upstairs and layed in my bed...to end up falling asleep in my clothes! Today I woke up and was excited that I was better...except my stomach still hurt! I ate a bowl offrozen peas (guilty pleasure food) and then it stopped hurting, except when I press on it it's a little achy on the left side. Every food was okay, except for half a brownie, which made my stomach growl and whine, which scared me. So I don't know what's going on exactly...any ideas?

I've gottne the sick feeling a LOT...

I'm sure you're right. The only thing that bothers me is that one girl in my chemistry class went home from school because her appendix hurt. what side is your appendix on and what are the symptoms of appendicitis?

**EDIT**-Haha, never mind. I just read that the pain is usually isolated on the right side with appendicitis, and mine is on the left/middle ish.

your appendix is on the right of your body.

    symptoms of appendicitis include:

Generalized abdominal cramps. Pain usually begins near the navel and moves down to the lower right. The pain becomes worse when the person moves or touches the area.

    Nausea or vomiting.

    Elevated temperature.

    Increased pulse rate.

    Loss of appetite.

    Constipation.

    Abdominal swelling.

if there's anything else you wanna know.. just tell me

I hate to bring up this topic again, but i just dont know what to do...

Whenever i press on my stomach it kind of aches, and feels almost...swollen? around the middle-ish part. i dont think it's appendicitis, but I just don't know what it is!! Can you..i dont know, strain a stomach by eating junk? will that make it just...ache to the touch? Of course, in the back of my mind I'm still worried that I will v*, but I don't think that this is the case right now..but what if this leads up to that? What IS this?

It's probably just anxiety. I have the same thing when I'm really nervous for extended period of time.

    Thanks PhilB!

Well I jsut wanted to update you all...it still continues, and I got sent home from school today. Don't worry, nothing terrible! Right before lunch my stomach started to hurt again, but I thought that it was just hunger pains, because i felt so hungry! So I went to the cafeteria and ate a whole thing of pesto pasta. Then, it intensified! So it was finally hurting so much that I went to the nurse, who said she didn't know what it was but it wasn't appendicitis, so she gave me a hot water bottle. I lay there until it stopped hurting, and then went to my last class, Step Aerobics, where fifteen minutes later it started full force again, so much that i actually thought that i was going to faint, so I went back to the nurse. I got sent home, but it was only about half an hour before school ended. After we got home it stopped hurting, but when i push on my stomach it still hurts!!

    Isnt' that weird?

Any ideas? i dont want to have to go to the nurse again tomorrow...I would feel stupid, plus there was someone that could have potentially v*ed in there (but i didnt really care at the moment...as i was in so much pain!)

Could you be getting your period? Also, I want to pat you on your back...no matterhow badly I would have hurt, being in a nurses room with a person who could have or had V*'d would ahve made me go back to faint or whatever, but not stay in there. That was so impressive. Sorry you hurt so badly, but think about how great what you went through was.

Try the hot water bottle on your side again, or maybe it is a strained muscle since it got worse during exercise. Maybe you strained it over the weekend and didn't realize it and now it is still hurting.

TRY to live each day like it were your last
