I was looking at the types of gravol available (I use this on my really bad
days) and I came across a link that concerned me. If gravol is classified as
an antiemetic, then why is it, on the list of POSSIBLE side effects, I see v*
    on there.

    http://www.abconlinepharmacy.com/ns/...roduct3655-c-p 1

That's the link, and the question is "Are there any side effects of Gravol/
Dimenhydrinate?" it will take you to the answer. It doesn't say this side
effect on the bottle. It doesn't make any sense, because gravol is used
people who suffer from problems like motion sickness, nausea, v*, and
    dizziness.

Is it just this website that says it? Or could it be referring to another
Gravol product? I wish I never saw this site..

It's a good reason not to fear the side-effects of ANYTHING. They list any and every possible thing that ever happened, even once, to anyone who took the product on a test basis. Some people barf up ANYTHING any old time, for no reason. These are not emets!

I have never heard of vomiting from gravol, or any other anti-emetic! However, the underlying condition may indeed be so bad the gravol won't work.

I have noticed that gravol helps me with dizziness.
I use bonamine it is less intense and you don't get the side effects with gravol, when I took gravol I felt so tired and diarrhea, with bonamine I can still continue on without feeling groggy. Also I take Rescue Remedy its a herbal and it works great!!

i agree - although i dont practice what i preach. i freak out if i see
n* or v* as a side effect. but seriously, when it comes down to it, it
may have been one person in a million while being tested that v*. and
who knows why, like sage said, some people v* everything up. they
just need to put those there to save their own asses

    becky

ps anything thats antiemetic should NOT cause v*. period. no matter what the side effetcs say.

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.

I will use gravol in very rare cases of n*, and the only side effect I get is I am TIRED! I took it once this summer when I was working nights, and then had to try and go back to a regular rythum, and it helps to sleep. I have never, ever heard of someone v* from taking gravol. I have taken gravol when I had a sv, and I did v* once after taking it, but it was already too late by that point anyway. Just taking it will not make you V*!! Just don't take to many at one time (BAD hallucinations), or get addicted to them by taking them every day.
