Someone at work today went home feeling sick, said
her mom was doing the deed the other day. So that started everyone
talking, and someone said 'i think its going around' so I panicked all
day and ate almost nothing of course. I work there 40 hours a week
theres no escaping it... so scary. Everyone uses the same phones,
equipment, bathrooms, etc. and to
top it off they more or less made fun of me when i started getting
upset. They dont know any better but I think they knew they hurt my
feelings.

So I went to my car for awhile and tried to get ahold of my insurance
company to see if theyd cover my former social worker. She really
helped me in the past but it was too expensive for my family and I. I
have new insurance so I thought Id give it a shot. They WONT COVER
SOCIAL WORKERS. What kind of BS is this!? It has to be a PSYCHOLOGIST.
I have Psychiatrist already,... all they do is the !#@#$% drugs,
they dont help you with any other aspect.. Ive been through it MANY
times before with psychs, I dont like them, but they can perscribe (no
dose of xanax seems to tame my panic attacks though, when it comes to
worst...)

my only savior is that I have phenergen persribed to me. I dont even
know if that would help if I had a sv either, since its a pill.. I just
dont know.

I hate this. As always.

How about psychologists? Do they cover them? They don't do drugs - more like the social worker.

I am sorry to hear that something is going around at your work Chibi. Things like that are hard to get around, but then again that stuff goes around more than you hear about, and 9 times out of 10 you don't catch it. Still I understand all the worry and starving yourself that goes with it when there is rumor of a bug going about. Urgh. About your insurance and what it covers, aren't psychologists and psychiatrists different? Sillygirl said psychologists are more like a social worker, and thats what they covercorrect? Maybe that would work. Does your therapist that you really like know of any good ones she could reccomend you to? They usually have connections. I hope things work out for you.

I'm sorry to hear about that!!! It would be so great if they covered social workers..

oh btw, i have a psychologist because I HATE meds, and they do more of a therapy thing than a medicine thing.

I have to keep seeing my psych once in awhile, we just do 5-10 minute
check ins so he can keep perscribing to me.. 70$ a visit... ugh. And no
insurance on him.

But I did check my providers website and found a female psychologist
nearby so I am going to call them and check their rates. I have a
feeling Im going to need it.

Good, I hope she works out well for you. Yikes $70 a visit, and just for 5-10 minutes? Eeep! Hopefully the other psychologist will be better.
