OT - need advice about baby issue

My husband and I have been talking for a while about having a baby. I got off birth control three months ago, but we haven't really been trying too hard. I know so many people that have just had babies and now I am incredibly anxious to get pregnant. For all of the moms out there, do you have any advice as far as the fastest way to get pregnant? I have looked at some of those ovulation predictor tests, but am not sure which one to use. There are the urine testing kind and the saliva testing kind . . . and it seems that people absolutely love them or hate them. Any advice is extremely appreciated. I got pregnant using basal body temperature charting.

There are lots of infertility support web sites. They help you to

properly chart your cycles - note: this method is best for people

with naturally regular cycles. I got pregnant using this method

along with clomid because I don't naturally get regular periods

and don't ovulate. There were some women that took their temps

and used ovulation kits and then used preg tests - some women

get way too obsessive about getting pregnant that they sabatoge

it with stress - don't do that. Do this consistantly for a while (basal temp)

until you see a pattern of spiking you want to have intercourse 1-2 days

before</span> your temp spikes - if you do it after - it's too late. If you are

not successful within 6 months to a year consult a infertility clinic.

They'll test your husband first to rule him out and then you.



Every person's challenges are very unique so do what is right for you.
