Right i went to therapy today and i only get an appointment once a month which is miles away i have to spend £10 travelling to get there only to spend 15 minutes talking about how my moods are then thats it see u next month!

WHY cant ihave better treatment? I mean ive herd of district nurses that help you a few days a week is this true and if so how do i find my district nurse to ask for help?

Its beyond a joke now my only help i get is this website!

Plz does anyone know what i should do? I mean my docs referred me in the first place so if i go back to them wont thy just put me back to the same once a month treatment?

i feel the same - it sucks to say the least, although i doubt a nurse would be a possable answer (doubt they would go under the phobia area, but more serious things ((not saying our phobia is not serious :P)))..but yea.. it really sucks man.. no one in my family understands, all my friends live in another town (went to college there) so thats kinda out of the question - i just have no one local to help me when im having a panic attack or feeling really s***y, and my only source is this web page (i love you guys really :P), but its annoying - seeing as it can take hours to get a response depending on the time, and is a pain when your suffering a panic attack, and like to be with another to calm you down.. that you are so alone

im hopeing that if i get treatment, it wont be one time a month like yours dudet, if you live in a semi-large town, try calling up the town center thingy ma-bob, and asking them for the counsiler line, then asking for someone that can help treat emetophobia.. which they will prob throw out a few phone numbers if they dont know what it is.), and go from there.. you should be able to get a more local one, paying 10 quid to travel for 15 mins of talking to someone is far from worth it, it will take years for them to help you with only 15 mins..

if you find any possable solutions to this problem, please let me know :S, i hate it to

Sarah, go back to your doctor, explain what u just told us, and see what else they can offer you...

15 minutes a month is not going to get you anywhere. the doc shud know that.

and why do u have to travel so far/pay so much to get there??

surely the doctor can offer u somethiung better....

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.
