The good news is, the bad part should be ending shortly. I remember being about 12 weeks pregnant with my son (my 2nd child) and telling my husband that, even though I was 39, I didn't want to have an amniocentisis (sp?) because of the risk of miscarriage. I explained that, given how s***ty I'd been feeling, if I miscarried, I didn't think I'd ever get pregnant again. And then it passed, and I went through pregnancy and labour and have a beautiful boy who's almost 10 months old. And by the way, I had some other testing done that told me that my chances of genetic diseases that are detectably by amnio was really, really low.
In the meantime, there are lots of tips for minimizing nausea. Go to http://pregnancy.about.com/cs/mornin...tp/tpmorningsi ck.htmas a start. Good luck.
