So after the whole wisdom teeth experience, I had more than a week off, as the scheduale worked out for this week, all my shifts are on the weekend.

I'm all worried and scared to go back, because last time I was there I felt sickly. Today I feel kinda gross, I've been constipated because of all the meds I was on. Then I had diareah last sunday, I'm scared it will return! Yuck, Ew, sorry guys! And I'm just feeling tired and anxious. Another week before I go back to my therapist. I'm just scared that I will get sick at work or something. Bleh.

    Damn this phobia.

Those are normal thoughts for us everyday, and they are even worse when we've had some time off from work. But be strong and you'll see that once you get back into the routine it'll be like the usual worrying but you will survive one day at a time, and be proud of yourself!

    I find that too, Jen!!

I hope you had a good day, Michele! It's so hard to go back after a break, and especially when you are in pain or have been sick! I hope you feel better soon and that work takes your mind off of everything!! Like Jen said, once you get back in the swing of things, it'll get easier. It's just taking that first step that seems to be the hardest, doesn't it?

    Hey there!

I agree its hard to get back into things, but once you do, you get used to the routine, and it becomes normal again. I had a tough time adjusting to getting back to college, but already Im getting used to it again, and you will too with work! I know the emet thoughts are hard, but think about how many of us work/go to school, and don't ever get sick. Bugs are going around all the time, and 9 times out of 10 you aren't going to catch it. Think of all the thousands of days that you have gone to work or school and did it and came home and were fine. The times that you are okay far outweigh the times your not.

Oh gosh the dread, I totally know and sympathize. The
dread just makes things even worse but I also found as everyone has
said you will be fine once you get back into the routine! You will be
    okay!

Best of luck hun. I think the time leading up to the first day back are going to be more worry for you that the actual day of work. I find I tend to get more worked up thinking about it than when I actually go and get there.
Once you are there and busying yourself I am sure you will find that it isn't all that bad.
Push it from your mind and don't dwell on it too much hun. BIG hugs.
