If its not hw in one subject its 5 things to do in another!!! Luckily this is my last semester thank God. It just doesnt seem like it should be so hard. Mebe its the classes Im taking or something. Man. Do these teachers think we have no lives??

    Hey!

Yeah... college is DEFINTITELY a LOT of work!!! I wish I'd known that my first year... I wouldn't have slacked off so much, but I did and now my GPA is suffering from it

I currentlyjust startedmy 4th year at the University of Kentucky, I've taken 74 credit hours and I just changed my major AGAIN! I'm actually probablygoing to be transfering to Eastern Kentucky University either next semester or next year because they are the only close Kentucky college that offers the major Ireally need (Child Development).

I can only wish it were my last semester before graduating... but it'snot.I'm probably looking at at least 3 more years My advisor told me today that for UK students, and students at otheruniversitiesit is becoming the normto be in school for5 or 6 years...things have changed so much since the days my parents were there. There used to be only a few majors tochoose from and often you came from families where your parents pretty much choose what they wantedyou to do. Now students get free choice and there are SO many different majors and specialties... it's crazy!!!

EEGADS... it's been a long day for me too... good luck!

WOW Kentuckygal!! 74 hours?? Man is that humanly possible? I know I have 5classes, and its like 14 credit hours (thats considered full time for a semester, 12 is minimum fulltime) mebe they count them different there? Or are you talking about total??

Hey there dont worry Louise I took several art classes and they're not as hard I think as the other ones like say that you have to write essays in or do tests and papers and such. Im sure it'll be fun!

Oh... Lol... sorry if I confused you!

I've taken 74 credit hours total during the whole time I've been there! Which is an average of about 12 a semester (That includes this semester too) so it's the same here. It just seems like SO many looking back!

And Louise, I agree with Galadriel... I loved all of my art type classes and I've actually loved even some of my regular classes. Just don't let yourself fall behind and you'll do just fine! Have fun!

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.

Hey Jenneh! Yeah I guess it depends on the class, but yeah its a lot of homework, cause usually I have at least an hour in every class, and some classes like 2-3 hours, so it adds up for homework. Its nuts! But I guess you just do what you gotta do.
