So i was reading a post the other day...
(Topic: What we need) and it was said that we need a non-emet to join. Well, i asked my sister about it the other day... if she'd be capable of joining(since she's v*ed so many times already because she overheats easily.. and alot too.). And she said she would. But i'd like to know if it be okay with everyone for her to join. If its not okay thats fine too. Just wanted to know before she actually does it. Edited by: harttride

I'm just one member here, but it's fine with me. I wish we were all non-emets.

I've thought of that too... like, as just support people who are like, We have no idea what you're going through but we STILL believe you are going to be fine! There are a few people out there, but I know that most of them don't stick around (I just remember the two moms who signed on saying their sons were emets, but I don't think I've heard from them again?). I want my boyfriend to join too but I don't think he's really interested in it... he dozes off when I tell him stuff emet-related but he says it's just 'cause he "doesn't get it." But for people who actually CARED (lol), then I think that would be good too. Especially for reassurance about stuff we freak out about. When I first told my roommate about how he MUST MUST MUST char all the meat we make, he said, Do you know how many times I've had fp* in my life? Once (out of 26 yrs). And how many times have you ever had fp*? And then I realized I haven't ever, and it still really put things in perspective.

Anybody can join this site. We've had other non-emets in the past - usually relatives.
I consider myself a non-emet too...although I totally understand it of course, having suffered from it for 40 years.
