Well I don't know. If you think its something to with digestion could it be not eating enough. Sometimes when you don't eat enough your body glucose drops and you will feel SOOOOOO sick like you will V* and you will just shake and get hot all over. when my Mum gets them she drinks a glass of coke and it restores her blood sugar a bit. Could that be it? Either way I'd tell your GP

    *hugs* feel better soon

    I know the feeling.
.I just want to feel safe in my own skin. I just want to be happy again. I just want to feel deep in my own world. But I’m so lonely I don’t even want to be with myself. <3

I've suffered that a few times Jen, and have worked out I'm garlic intolerant. It has a cumulative effect, so that a little bit each day over a few days has the same effect as a lot in one go - not good! Basically, I have to be careful about how much garlic I eat (which is a shame as I love the stuff!). Maybe you have a food intolerance (not a food allergy - that's different)? Can you work out whether it happens when you have eaten something in particular, or more than the usual amount of a particular food?

Just a thought - Best wishes, Jill xxx

i could do a food diary wen it happens, but tht wil ltke a while for me to figure it out!

Maybe like people are saying, its because of something that our body is weak to, a food.

Anywayz, it happens maybe 2 times a month, every month? And always at night. Do you get the feeling right before it happens that it feels so real, its like OMG this is it! The actual thing! Alll of a sudden and then it happens?

Aww I have had that it seemed to stop though. I never got to tell the doctor about it because again it was something I thought I was just being wierd about.
I still get the shakes if I haven't had enough to eat or when I have had a bad asthma attack.
I am curious to find out what it may be that you have that catched up to you every few months. Is it a food?.maybe lack of food?is it nerves? I would definatly go and ask your doctor and it will only take a few easy tests to figure it out I am sure. My niece had something kind of similar and they did a scratch test on her back and took some blood tests.

Yes I know what you mean, its like your body is one big violent shake!

Jenneh blood tests arent' scary, don't worry, do what you have to. Just don't look. Lol...one time I was having a blood test and the needle was in my arm and the nurse started choking! I was screaming cuz I thought she would v* and I made a fool out of myself...and so did she. But They're not scary So don't worry. They are quick, easy and will help us figure out what going on!

Naww they are a piece oh cake. Especially if you get a seasoned nurse. I had one and I didn't even feel the needle go in. The last one I kind of felt it but I think it was more because I was watching her do it so I knew she was doing it.
Yeah I have had the violent shakes and I am curious to find out what it is in you. I won't bring it up to the doctor for myself because it has been years since I Have had it now. I use to shake the whole bunkbed and I couldn't make it stop no matter how hard I tried.

grr I get this too and have no idea why I get it. It sued to happen alot in my junior school and I could hardly stand up without going all shakey. Its horrible. It doesnt happen too often but every other month or so.

Jenneh - I always freek out before blood tests but have had 3 in the last few months and have another one next week and they really arnt too bad, and its all over. It all depends on what you are being tested for. I had blood taken for one test and although obviously the needle hurt a bit, I didnt feel faint of dissy afterwards atall. The second test I had was taking blood for 6 tests (which is quite rare) and I msut admit that I did feel nasty afterwards, but didnt feel sick or v*. But whatever happens there sitn any danger of you v*.
